    The grade level I chose was K-2. The standard I chose was communication and collaboration. This standard requires identification of digital tools that can be used for communication, knowing how to perform keyword searches, exchanging information with other teachers or students, and giving and receiving criticism on collaborative projects. I feel mostly prepared to implement this standard based on my current skill set because I am familiar with most of these tasks, as I work within a school system. However, I do feel it is needed to brush up on these skills. I feel as though one can never fully know everything about technology, since it is forever changing. 

    I selected Kindergarten and the subject english language arts. The related resource is lesson plans. The resource can be used in my teaching by planning ahead to carefully help students succeed in this assignment. In the lesson, sequential story tellers, the students will learn how to successfully sequence a story by performing, independent, group, and partner activities. The students will recall events in sequence of a story and help generate a start, middle, and ending to the story as a class. Then, students will write their own sequential stories. Lastly, they will connect with peers for feedback and share their stories with each other. 

    It is important to be a proficient internet searcher as a teacher because it allows teachers to quickly find information, access resources, and find accurate content for students. Of the internet searching skills that were presented this week, I feel the skill that I will use most moving forward is keyword searching. This allows me to efficiently find what Im looking for to quickly find what I need.
