    The grade level I chose was K-2. The standard I chose was communication and collaboration. This standard requires identification of digital tools that can be used for communication, knowing how to perform keyword searches, exchanging information with other teachers or students, and giving and receiving criticism on collaborative projects. I feel mostly prepared to implement this standard based on my current skill set because I am familiar with most of these tasks, as I work within a school system. However, I do feel it is needed to brush up on these skills. I feel as though one can never fully know everything about technology, since it is forever changing. 

    I selected Kindergarten and the subject english language arts. The related resource is lesson plans. The resource can be used in my teaching by planning ahead to carefully help students succeed in this assignment. In the lesson, sequential story tellers, the students will learn how to successfully sequence a story by performing, independent, group, and partner activities. The students will recall events in sequence of a story and help generate a start, middle, and ending to the story as a class. Then, students will write their own sequential stories. Lastly, they will connect with peers for feedback and share their stories with each other. 

    It is important to be a proficient internet searcher as a teacher because it allows teachers to quickly find information, access resources, and find accurate content for students. Of the internet searching skills that were presented this week, I feel the skill that I will use most moving forward is keyword searching. This allows me to efficiently find what Im looking for to quickly find what I need.

     1. My experience using Microsoft Word is slim. I have experienced distance learning throughout Covid-19 and classes I take that are online rather than in person. Something I like about my distance learning experience is that I can kind of go at my own pace. For example, how quickly I can work through assignments or if I need a break, its possible to take one. However, something I dislike about distance learning is that it is more difficult for me to communicate with the teacher and understand as well as I could in an actual classroom setting. When I am a teacher, I can make sure the students are understanding and provide them with outside resources that could help them. As well as reaching out periodically to make sure they are on track.       From working on the Web design assignment, I acquired new technological skills such as how to create and design a website, how to make it function, what kind of information to include on a teacher website, and became more familiarized with technological tools. I liked how challenging this assignment was. Throughout this class, I have learned more about technology than ever before.
