I have experienced distance learning throughout Covid-19 and classes I take that are online rather than in person. Something I like about my distance learning experience is that I can kind of go at my own pace. For example, how quickly I can work through assignments or if I need a break, its possible to take one. However, something I dislike about distance learning is that it is more difficult for me to communicate with the teacher and understand as well as I could in an actual classroom setting. When I am a teacher, I can make sure the students are understanding and provide them with outside resources that could help them. As well as reaching out periodically to make sure they are on track.

OER provides resources that anyone can use for their learning experience. Access is free and anyone can share or edit them. Examples of OER is a website that gives multiple examples of OER. It provides various information concerning OER such as what it is, links that provide examples, OER subject examples (business, fine arts, communications).

From working on the two PowerPoint assignments, I have learned valuable skills. These include how to make a presentation for a lesson for class, how to record a verbal presentation, how to make a presentation interactive, and more. I like using PowerPoint because theres so much versatility and you can present the information in customized ways. In the future, I feel I can improve on the amount of time it took me to build the PowerPoint as I become more familiar with where each feature is.
