    My initial experience with using Diigo did not go as well as I had hoped. I personally do not like using Diigo because it is confusing to me. The reason I do not like it is because I am not familiar with this type of platform. However, I feel as though the more I use Diigo and become familiar with this platform I will grow to like it. 

    My experience with blogging has gone well. I actually enjoy blogging because I feel I can freely express my opinion and it is more fun to use than Word for assignments. During the blogging process, I have learned how to use the website and have become comfortable with using it and I have learned there are other alternatives for assignments and such. 

    An interesting tool I recently came across is Mentimeter. Mentimeter allows educators to create dynamic presentations and quizzes. This allows students and teachers to interact with one another through presentations and quizzes. It allows for quick responses. Teachers can give students a prompt and the students can respond instantly using their devices.

I only recently started using Microsoft Word as a word processing software during my dual-enrolled courses at Gulf Coast State College and now at Florida State University. I have experienced distance learning throughout Covid-19 and classes I take that are online rather than in person. Something I like about my distance learning experience is that I can kind of go at my own pace. For example, how quickly I can work through assignments or if I need a break, its possible to take one. However, something I dislike about distance learning is that it is more difficult for me to communicate with the teacher and understand as well as I could in an actual classroom setting. When I am a teacher, I can make sure the students are understanding and provide them with outside resources that could help them. As well as reaching out periodically to make sure they are on track.       From working on the Web design assignment, I acquired new technological skills such as how to create and design a website, how to make it function, what kind of information to include on a teacher website, and became more familiarized with technological tools. I liked how challenging this assignment was. Throughout this class, I have learned more about technology than ever before.
