    I have interacted with classmates on Twitter. I have found it beneficial in that I can ask them questions about assignments or just have them as support. I am able to use Twitter as a social interaction with other students I am unable to meet with in person. Twitter will be helpful in my future career by providing me with networking opportunities and and providing feedback from other users. 

    The digital divide is the gap between those who use technology and those who do not. It affects student success in schools by being able to access information, learning resources, allowing them to collaborate with other students, online learning, and homework or projects that require research. Causes of digital divide include economic status, location, lack of technological skills, and funding. As a teacher, I may experience kids with very little access to technology or those are very familiar with it. I will have to be aware of what each of my students are comfortable with and determine the best way I can deliver assignments and information. 

    I would like to implement Kahoot! and Quizlet. Kahoot allows the students to answer questions while simultaneously having fun with friendly competition amongst classmates. Quizlet allows students to study for tests and assignments in ways that are unique for them. I feel both of these platforms will push my students and allow them to fully comprehend the material.

I have experienced distance learning throughout Covid-19 and classes I take that are online rather than in person. Something I like about my distance learning experience is that I can kind of go at my own pace. For example, how quickly I can work through assignments or if I need a break, its possible to take one. However, something I dislike about distance learning is that it is more difficult for me to communicate with the teacher and understand as well as I could in an actual classroom setting. When I am a teacher, I can make sure the students are understanding and provide them with outside resources that could help them. As well as reaching out periodically to make sure they are on track.       From working on the Web design assignment, I acquired new technological skills such as how to create and design a website, how to make it function, what kind of information to include on a teacher website, and became more familiarized with technological tools. I liked how challenging this assignment was. Throughout this class, I have learned more about technology than ever before.
